Emergency preparedness

The board must ensure that an emergency plan is prepared and it must include procedures for an effective response to an emergency. The plan should include processes in the event of a pandemic emergency.

The board must also ensure that these procedures are tested and that information, training and instruction are provided to workers who’ll be responsible for implementing these procedures in an emergency.
