Trustee Elections

All Trustee Election information is now located on the Trustee Elections website (i.e. www.trustee-election.co.nz)

The new website provides election information to assist Boards and Returning Officers manage the election process, including:

• What is a Trustee? - details what a trustee is and what they do
• Becoming a Trustee (includes information on Mid-Term elections, Casual vancies, Changing the number of Parent Representatives on your Board,  and Student Trustees)
• Returning Officers (includes information on Returning Officer Memos, RO Handbook, Training Seminars, MOE Webinar, Advertisements and election forms and Templates, and FAQs) - you will need the Returning Officer's logon
• Board Resources (includes information on Becoming a Trustee, Election forms and appendices, Media page, Memos and newsletters, Succesion planning and Useful links
• Election Promo docs - allows Boards and ROs to customise election pamphlets using their School's Returning Officer contact details
• Election Planning - provides details on election planning, a copy of the countdown diary and an election tool to set the various election dates pertaining to their school's election date
• Appoint a Returning Officer - contains details of how to appoint a Returning Officer using the rates set by the Ministry, along with a template for appoint a Returning Officer

Note:   This Trustee Election site is being worked on and in future will provide ROs with the ability to register for Triennial 
             Elections as well as provide details on how their election process is running by recording information such as the
             number of nominations.
