TV & Radio Copying Licence:
The Screenrights licence permits schools to copy programmes from television and radio for educational purposes.

The licence is simple and straightforward. Licensed schools can copy from both free to air and pay television and radio. There are no limits on the amount of a programme that can be copied [a short excerpt, the entire show, a series, or anything in between]; there are no limits on the amount of copies that can be made [one or a hundred, as you need]; and, no limits on the type of programme that can be news and current affairs to light entertainment; it's all covered].   Under the licence, copying can occur anytime, anywhere by anyone as long as it is for the educational purposes of the school.

To ensure you get maximum value from your licence, Screenrights produces a weekly educational programme guide which highlights programmes of particular educational value and lists them in study areas. The guide also includes links to websites related to the highlighted programmes, many of which provide Teachers Notes.   This emailed guide is free and is exclusively available to Screenrights' licencees.
