Job Summary

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be a seasoned employment professional with experience working in a fast paced and changing environment supporting multiple stakeholders.

As Regional Advisor Employment, you act like a school’s HR Business Partner. In this role you will get no end of variety in employment relations and HR. Any day could see you advise on relationship building techniques, co-design a restructure proposal, attend mediation, provide advice and support on recruitment, performance management, conduct issues and health and safety.  A truly diverse role.

In addition to problem solving via robust processes, you will be involved in designing and delivering workshops aimed at problem prevention and best practice management of all things HR and Employment Relations.

The role places you as the conduit between Principals (as CEOs of schools) and unions on a regular basis, enabling you to demonstrate your strong relationship building skills.

Our office is in Mt Eden and there is flexibility to work from home. There will be regular travel required to support schools in the Franklin – Rodney region. A work vehicle will form part of your remuneration package.
