About the role
Employment Advisors in our Advisory Support Centre (ASC) are the first port of call for our members. This involves advising, supporting, and providing school boards and their delegates with timely and accurate advice on employment enquiries to promote effective employment practice in schools.
The variety and breadth of this role as well as the opportunity to work on a broad range of ER and HR enquiries will keep you busy and stimulated. The advice and support you provide will directly strengthen school boards and improve the overall quality of governance and education provided to students across New Zealand.
These are permanent, full-time positions (40 hours per week) based in our national office in Lambton Quay, Wellington. Flexible working arrangements are also a consideration for these roles.
We have a team with diverse and varied backgrounds; but all of us share the values of the organisation and enjoy the role we play in strengthening our member’s employment practice.
New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA) is a not for profit and membership-based national organisation representing the interests of its member boards.
NZSTA is the most influential leader of effective school governance in Aotearoa, embodying the intent of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Its vision is to lead and strengthen school governance in New Zealand to ensure that all schools are effectively governed so that every student realises their highest possible educational potential.
High – Expectations | High – Trust | High – Transparency | High – Accountability
If you're excited by the opportunity to join a team who are passionate about strengthening school governance in Aotearoa New Zealand, then don't delay in applying.
