Online Salary Assessment portal – beginning, overseas or returning teachers 

The online salary assessment application process is used for placing beginning, overseas or returning teachers on the correct grade and step on the base salary scale. This link to EdPay has a summary of what you need to know and links to get set up in the portal, with guidance, so you know what to do as the employer. 

Ministry of Education NZSTA survey

Each year the Ministry of Education undertakes a survey about the services NZSTA is contracted to provide to boards. This is an important way the Ministry checks in with you about your experience of the services NZSTA offers and our progress on key performance measures as agreed in our contract with the Ministry.

The survey can be completed by each individual board member regarding their own personal experience of NZSTA’s services. You can access the survey here.
